Terms of Use — Rune

Last updated: 2026-10-11.

By using Rune you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Rune is

Rune is an independent app that suggests which of your credit cards may earn the most at a store or category, and reminds you about fees, credits and bonuses. It is not affiliated with any card issuer.

Not financial advice

Rune's suggestions are general information, not financial, credit or tax advice. Reward rates, benefits and rules come from public sources, can be out of date or incomplete, and may differ from your own account. Your card issuer's terms always come first. Check with your issuer before you apply for or rely on a card.

Your account

You can use Rune as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for what you add and for who you invite to a family group. Members of a group can see the cards in it. You can delete your account any time in Settings → Delete account.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, to access other people's data, or to use it unlawfully.

Availability and changes

Rune is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or end the app or any feature, and we may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Rune after a change means you accept it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on Rune, including missed or lower rewards, fees, or declined applications. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Third-party names

Card names, issuer names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify the cards. Their use does not mean any endorsement.
